Paraplanner

Langa is registered with the FSCA as a representative of API, and can provide advice in regard to the license categories and services offered by API.

His current role is one of a Paraplanner. This has given him the opportunity to gain invaluable insight and practical experience while learning the theoretical and administrative core components of the financial planning industry.

Langa’s educational background and qualifications include a Bachelor of Social Sciences degree majoring in Legal Studies and Politics. He completed his Honours in Social Sciences majoring in Political Science and is currently finalising his Masters qualification. He will shortly be embarking on the studies for the Advanced Certificate in Financial Planning.

During his earlier studies Langa was employed as a full-time qualified sports coach. He is an avid sports enthusiast and an outgoing, optimistic, people-oriented person.

“I aspire to constantly upskill and educate myself to be a financial planner and wealth manager of the highest calibre. My favourite book is ‘The Barefoot Coach’ by Paddy Upton (performance director of the South African cricket team). Hobbies include outdoor sporting activities and quality time with friends and family”.
